CWC #81 Card Outreach

Hello everyone. Sorry for this post I am writing it on my iPhone from the (UN)Great Wolf Lodge in washington. As I'm sure you can tell I'm not a fan of this place I highly recommend if you're ever thinking about taking a trip here you reconsider anywhere else. Ok rant over onto this weeks cooking with cricut challenge.

This week is card outreach. Our challenge to make a thinking about you project for a girl with the added option of making a card for one of two little girls fighting disease a . I chose to do a card for each little girl.

My 1st card is for Patty (13).

I used Tinker Bell & Friends and Imagine cards inside and out.

This is an easel card, very easy to make. You take your card base and fold the top pare in half and then put your other part of the card, in this case the dark pink background on top of the front and only adhere to the bottom fold. On the inside you'll need an image that you can pop up with pop dots or buttons or brads something the card front can catch on and tada! You can find tutorials all over the Internet.

My next card is for Emily (6). I used Hello Kitty and imagine cards inside and out.

I put an action wobble on the hello kitty head so it wobbles around. I embossed the dark pink background with my cuddle bug and the Swiss dots folder and inked it with white ink to help make it stand out.

snowman tag

Made these cute little snowman tags to go on bags of white chocolate fudge & white chocolate pretzels.

I used the snowman cut from the Hello Kitty cart and made the tag long enough to cover the top of the bag (about 4 inches) x 4 inches and folded in half so it was 4x2. I cut the tag shape using Accent Essentials. I inked the edge of the tag and used swiss dots and my cuttlebug to emboss one of the tags. The "there's snowman like you" cut is from Winter Frolic.

Pumpkin Shaped Card

Using the Hello Kitty Cart I made this cute lil pumpkin card for the I Feel The Love September Project. You can find out more about the project by going to Madison's blog and reading up on it. This month the cards are to be Halloween themed (and not scary) and they are going to be sent to the children at Pediatric Specialty Care. So head over and check it out its for a great cause!

I cut the card at 4 inches and filled in the pieces pretty simple card hope you enjoy!

Hello Kitty Card Pg 65

This is the first time i've used the hello kitty cart.. i won it in some blog candy months ago and just never got around to it.. its really a super cute cart and im so glad i won it. I cut the card out at 4.5 inches. The plane is turquise, the bow, scarf, shirt and stripe on the plane are hot pink, Hello kitty is light pink as is the star. The card base is a really dark navy blue.

Made this shaped strawberry card from the Hello Kitty cart. its pretty small aprox 3 1/4" I inked the pink part to give it a lil texture. The inside says "Thank you BERRY much!" :)
