Fantastic Day Card

I made this cute card using some paper scraps and bakers twine from the twinery.. the umbrella is cut from the cricut expression 2 exclusive cart ( Cricut Essentials Cartridge). I made the rain drops out of twine from the twinery (ocean) and stamped the sentiment on the bottom. The face stamp is Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids.

Dance in the Rain card

Today I have this super cute card to share. I made this for a few challenges, which I will list below, as always. I used the DCWV Juniper Berry stack for the papers.

The rain drop is cut by hand from some blue card stock and I stamped it with a Peachy Keen wide eyed kids stamp. I filled the eyes in with white gel pen, the mouth with red zig marker, and drew some white lines around to give the effect of water i guess lol. The rain drop is on a pop dot.

The strip of ribbon is from my stash and is pleated, and held on with ATG tape. I also hand cut the banner and stamped with black ink the sentiment using some alphabet stamps from Studio G.

I inked around the banner and added stickles to the banner and the light blue umbrella below.

1st Smile Layout

Pretty simple layout I followed a sketch, used some peachy keen stamps for different smiles on the circle background paper, pleated a strip of blue card stock, added some buttons and put some yellow bakers twine on one in a bow. The title is cut from Create A Critter & Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art. I outlined "Smile" with black zig marker. The journaling box is a stamp... easy :)

Spooktacular (1st) Spinner Card

Well here it is everyone... the coolest card I've ever made. I know it's not wonderful or anything but I'm pretty pleased with my very first spinner card.

Theres lots of tutorials online about making spinners if you'd like to try your hand... super easy! Basically its to of the same cut with fishing line in between and glued inside(atg taped lol) and then the extra string gets put between the window (you make an extra one for the inside and do the same thing you did with the monster/cut or whatever you want to use.

I embossed 2 papers with different cuttle bug folders... the front yellow one and the background purple. and inked both.. one with orange ink the other with dark purple.

I attached the purple strip with the sentiment with small silver brads.. (this is a sketch from PKS this week).

And I used some different pk stamps for the monster.. I cut the monster from Mini Monsters. Hope you like it too!

Popsicle card

Today I made this SUPER CUTE card! Isn't it cute?! I cut the popsicles out with my Imagine and the Yummy cart and cut one to make it look melted. The sun I also cut on my Imagine with the Create a Critter cart (I put yellow paper in and just used the cut setting.. no printing on the sun).

I used some Peachy Keen Stamps for the face on the popsicle and colored in the cheeks with a pink glaze pen and smeared it with my finger.. I also filled in the mouth with the same pen. The tongue is a different colored pen (a tad bit darker). I filled in the eyes with a white gel pen and put some dots on the cheeks. I also used the gel pen to stitch around the popsicle. I adhered him (or her I guess lol) to the card with pop dots.
I

The papers were just in my stash of scraps and I cant really remember where I got the blue striped one.. the cloud one is Recollections though. I inked the edges of the cloud paper with a blue shade chalk ink. I used some pink ribbon that I had from packaging of a box that baby socks came in. And the sentiment I hand wrote with a pen.

Hope you like it.. its definitely cute (at least I think so lol).

Tiny Card Set

These are the cutest cards I've ever made!! I love them to death. And I also made my very first clear card.. which is definitely my fav card I've ever made! It's so cool.

I used PKS Winter is for the Birds stamps & and some Pink Stamper sentiments. I colored the bird in with zig markers and glaze pens. I cut the bird out close and then layered colors of card stock & mulberry paper that matched the bird. I also embossed the card stock using snow dots embossing folder.

The cards are all different sizes but stay around 2x3ish. I embellished all of the cards with matching bakers twine & on some of the cards I mixed the twine to match the scarf.

For the clear card I used one of the plastic boxes my Cricut carts come in and cut it down and folded it. Fairly easy and super cheap :D.

PKS light card

If you're here for the Christmas Decorations Hop click HERE!

I made this card using Peachy Keen Face stamps (The Uglies). To make the mouth I used part of one of the eyes from the same eyes I used on the light bulb.

I made the light bulb cut file for Sure Cuts A Lot and cut it out (originally as a tag for Jayden's advent calender.. but I cut a lot of extras).

I Stamped the face on in blue and inked the edges of the light bulb & sentiment. To make the top of the light silver I inked it with a silver ink pad and then drew the lines on with a pen. I cut a different shade of blue piece of card stock and embossed it using Snow Dots (for the cuttlebug) and then inked it white to help make it pop. I used some blue baker's twine and tied around the embossed cardstock.
