1st Thanksgiving layout

I made this layout for Tommy's baby book too. I used Create A Critter for the turkey and Wild Card for the "Thanksgiving". I cut them all on my gypsy and the "thanksgiving" I used as a mask and inked over it with red ink. The papers are from Joanns. "1st" is red Thickers and I followed a sketch from Paper Secrets.

MCCR Scrapbook Friday - 4 pics - fresh and clean lo

Today at MCCR we were to make a scrapbook layout with 4 pictures.

I used Wild Card and my gypsy to weld the letters together to make the title. I added white gel pen dots around the title.

I cut the whale from Create A Critter. I added some pink stickles to the water coming out of her spout. I also added stickles around the page on random bubbles. I cut some strips of pink paper for journaling on with white pen. And I added a photo mat to 2 of the pics in different shades of pink.

Hard to believe this lil thing is gonna be 3 years old in January :(!

To see all the DT's amazing projects please go to MCCR to check em out!

The Boys Layout

I have this adorable layout for you guys to see today.

These are my nephews during their very first photo shoot together. I did the photos. Crazy, in these pics the older one is 2, going on 3, and the lil one is only a month old... now the older one just turned 7 a couple days ago and the lil one.. well he just turned 4. WHERE did the years go?!

I used all DCWV paper for this layout. I cut the title with my gypsy and expression 2 using wild card for "the" and robotz for "boys". I used tooth picks for the base of the lil flags at the bottom. Blue ribbon toward the top, black bakers twine, and some really weird black lacey fabric type ribbon (i got it at really reasonable ribbon).

I love these lil guys.. :) They're my only nephews.. and they were both around before I had my girls so I used to be the greatest Auntie ever until I got married and moved out of state. I taught the older one how to start talking.. I was there the day he was born and he was the whiniest ring bearer in all the history of ring bearers but I love him anyway ;). And the lil one.. well he's the lil one! He's obviously my fav since we're both the 2nd born lol jk jk.. seriously though.. I missed a lot of his baby baby years cause I lived in a different state, but he's still my lil guy anyway.

Really funny fact... my mom had a boy (my bro) and a girl (me).. my bro had 2 boys.. I had 2 girls. When my bro was younger he had blonde hair.. but its now a brown, his wife's hair is dark brown.. my husband had blondish hair for a short time when he was a baby and we both have dark dark brown hair now (remember this part). My bro's 1st son has blonde hair, blue eyes and a real 'tude. My 1st daughter has BLOND hair, Blue eyes, and a real 'tude! My bro's 2nd son has brownish hair (that had a reddish tint when he was a baby), blue eyes, he's pretty laid back and used to eat everything (we used to call him "garbage can" lol cuz he'd eat ANYTHING!). My 2nd daughter has RED hair, blue eyes, she's laid back and she eats everything (we call her "Lady Gryph" after her cousin Gryphon (the 2nd born)). Now if you recall.. we all have brown hair now, and the 2 men (my bro and hubby) only had blonde hair for a short time... out of 4 brown haired people how did NONE of us and up with a brown haired kid?! LOL pretty funny.

Sorry funny story I had to get out.

Very 1st time using Peachy Keen Stamps!!

So I won some Peachy Keen stamps the other day and I've been dying to use them!! So I did. Now I was a little worried about how it would turn out since I've never used there stamps before.

I cut the leaves using Wild Card.

I think I did a pretty decent job considering I've never attempted to do anything similar to this before. Im really happy with how the card turned out.

Circle Thank You Card

I made this cute thank you card today.

I cut the card with my Expression out of off white card stock at 6inches using the Wild Card cart on the Doily setting. I inked the card front with a pink ink pad and then placed the darker pink embossed paper on some foam tape and put it in the middle. I cut the "Thank You" with the Wild Card cart too at I think 8inches. I used my ATG gun to glue the "Thank You" down.. not gluing the entire thing. I also used my ATG gun to glue down the white bow made of ribbon. Using the same pink ink that I inked the card with I inked up a Stampin' Up flower stamp I have and made a boarder/frame around the darker pink circle. I also stamped the same flower on the inside of the card. Hope you like it :).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
