MyMemories Suite GIVEAWAY and review

Hey everyone.. ugh it seems like forever since I've been able to blog. Life gets crazy sometimes.. no exceptions here! :)

Today I have a giveaway for you guys (gals lol)! Details below...

I have had MyMemories Suite for awhile now.. and I personally love it! It's so fun and easy to use. Very user friendly and simple. It makes digital scrapbooking a breeze! I have used other software before (photoshop since I'm a photographer.. ) and when it comes to digital scrapbooking MyMemories Suite is so much more fast.

There are so many wonderful kits in the MyMemories.com store. MyMemories often has great sales on their kits too. They share ideas and have contests on facebook (with prizes!) ;) Also check out their blog for more inspiration.

Now let me show you a few new layouts I've made with it.. just in a few hours I made all 3 of these layouts.. 

My lil Harmony last Dec.. :) how fast they grow can't believe it!! This will be her 2nd Christmas!

Speaking of growing my lil Jayden is growing like a weed.. she'll be 3 this Jan. This is one of (MANY of) my fav pics of her and her daddy :) Aren't they just adorable!

Here is another layout of Jayden and her daddy at the zoo! The hardest part about this layout was trying to decide which great embellishments I wanted to use.

You may notice that these have all sorts of fonts... another great feature is that you can use any of the fonts on your computer for text or even WordArt.

Funniest thing.. all of these layouts only have one pic.. I don't normally do 1 pic layouts for paper or digital.. I guess these are just pics I wanted to showcase on their own.. there is absolutely no restrictions to how many images you can use with MyMemories Suite.

One last thing.. We leave for a vacation to SoCal on Saturday Dec 1.. (CANT WAIT!) and of course we'll be going to Disneyland since well honestly.. what else is there in Cali?! lol! We won't be back until Dec 13.. so there won't be many (if any) crafty posts during that time.

My Memories Suite Winner!

Well Sorry this is late I know I said I'd post on Nov 5 but.. I've been super busy making cookies and decor etc etc for Adam's grandparent's surprise 50th anniversary party.. (i'll post about that later this week maybe.. or perhaps next week sometime).

We're packing our bags tonight and flying to IN tomorrow.. Adam is teaching a class in TN and we'll be stopping in to visit Maile (my very best friend in the whole world!) and her Mike & Lei (her fiance & daughter). And then we'll be in TN for the rest of the time.. we wont get back until Nov 18.. but hopefully in the evening on the days in TN I'll have a chance to post at least a couple of times while gone. We'll see. Im very excited cuz I haven't seen Mai since... oh last summer.. (we go a year usually before we get to see each other)... and this is the first time she gets to meet Harmony :D .. she didnt meet Jayden until she was 9 months old and I didnt meet Lei until she was about 9 months old kinda sucks that we live so far away :(. But anyway.. I'll be gone and wont really have a chance to craft but I may be able to post some pics from the 50's anniversary party of some of the items I made.

Come out and play digi layout

This is my fav digital layout I've made so far.. its also up there in my fav all time layouts it's just so super cute! It's so cute that when my husband saw it he said he would consider digital scrapbooking.

Harmony is over 1 month old

So.... *sigh* my baby girl is already 1 month and 9 days old!! :( When did this happen? I cannot believe it!

I was just going through my old posts and noticed that I hardly ever post about my babies now and its usually just scrapping or crafting.. so I thought I better at the very least do a monthly update (that way if nothing else at least i have kept track somewhere for when I finally (if ever) get around to scrapping this stuff).

So Harmony is 5ish weeks old now..

What's she doing/milestones:

• just starting to track things
• can support her head for about 30 seconds at a time
• kicks off of things nonstop
• drinking 3oz bottles every 2hrs during the day and 3-4 hrs at night
• starting to roll onto her side
• starting to coo "ahh" "ohh" "aww" etc
• smiles once in awhile when shestalked to or smiled at
• just started losing her hair this week and its starting to grow back where it's fallen out at already

Likes/Dislikes:

• likes her big sister
• likes being held
• likes daddy
• likes mommy
• likes "It girl - Jason Derulo" (its the only way to get her to stop crying sometimes)
• likes her tummy time gym
• likes sleeping during the day and being up at night
• likes eating
• dislikes anything cold
• dislikes being sat down
• dislikes her car seat
• dislikes being swaddled
• dislikes loud noises
• dislikes bath time (cuz it's cold afterwards i guess lol)
• dislikes being dirty

Other info:

• Jayden can't say Harmony yet she calls her "sis" or "Harm" or "Harma".. so I've started calling her "Harma" too I think its kinda cute
• First trip was on Sept 22 - 23 a beach trip to Newport, Rockaway Beach, & Tillamock and we went to the Newport Aquarium
• First trip to the pumpkin patch was on Oct 15, 2011.
• Her hair was/is reddish brown (we'll see if it grows back the same color).

Please forgive my photos they have not yet been edited. And I have 1000s more (no joke) i just don't have the time right now to edit and then upload.. just to upload these 3 it took me about 30 mins.. ugh slow internet and not wanting to take the time to resize (the computer i normally do that on broke.. my husband dropped it off the chair and the screen shattered lol).

No PIctures digi layout

Jayden was being her stubborn self in these and just didnt want her pic taken. For some reason the feathers on the boa were also making her gag.. shes about 9 months old in these pics.

My Memories Suite + a GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone!! :)

Now I'm sure you've all been seeing all the posts lately for My Memories Suite and giveaways and digital scrapbooking layouts made with My Memories Suite. Well I am here to tell you there's a reason for that... Its AWESOME!

I have been playing around with My Memories Suite and I am LOVIN' it! I love it so much that I have 2 copies of it.. one on my Mac and one on one of the PCs. I normally don't do digital.. but in the past I have done a few pages using Photoshop. Since I'm a photographer Im familiar with photoshop and its cake for me to use. I thought that it would be impossible for this program to be any easier to use for me.. but it is!! It really is.

There are a few things.. to bring up here, not only is it easy to use it's also fun! And lets not forget the fact that clean up is non-exsistant!! Thats a HUGE plus! It's fast, produces amazing projects with just a few clicks.. and you don't have to look around and hope you have that pic you're looking for printed.. or printed at a special size.. with My Memories Suite it's all just a click away!

The possibilities are endless with this. This program is NOT just for scrapbooking.. it can do so much more. Now, I've only been playing with it for 2 days now but I know that it can make movies, use music, make cards etc etc.

There are tons of kits online at Mymemories.com, whatever you're looking for.. it's there!

One of the big questions I had about this program was.. "Am I limited to just the kits on Mymemories.com?" the answer is no. If you find something somewhere else you can still use it in My Memories Suite.. it just doesn't upload into the program the same way. You can even make your own kits/papers/embellishments to use. Thats what makes this program so much fun! Mymemories.com also has free kits and all kits are very reasonably priced :)

The pics are some of the pages I've made over the last 2 days using My Memories Suite.. the time to make each page ranged between 30mins - 3hrs (mainly because I have a hard time picking out pics and deciding which of the many papers/embellishments I wanted to use).
