This is a layout i made for the current imaginisce sketch (which i was just a few hours shy of the deadline *sigh*).. i used all imaginisce papers except for the pink and brown. I cut the ice cream with my cricut and the top i cut 4 times and made them a 3d embellishment. the title is thickers.

Ice Cream card
I made this ice cream card using only scraps.. I cut the ice cream from the Once Upon a Princess cart and embossed the ice cream with divine swirls. I added burlap over the kraft cone and placed the ice cream on an action wobble. I used a punch for the paper the sentiment was stamped on and a stamp from recollections and some maroon ink. The glitter ribbon is glitter tape from American Crafts.

CWC Blogaversary Day 4 - Tiara/Crown
Welcome everybody to the week long blogaversary celebration for CWC!

Today we are celebrating with projects that include a tiara or crown.
I made this 2 page layout using my Gypsy (of course), and Cricut Expression. The carts I used are Birthday Cakes, Once Upon a Princess, Princess Party & Gypsy Wanderings.

Page 1:
I welded the "SPOLIED" from Once Upon a Princess with "Rotton"(which I just now realized I spelled wrong.. it should be Rotten.. oh well!! LOL) which I made using letters from Birthday Cakes. I put some crowns from Princess Party inside some of the letters on both words. I cut this out of pink patterned paper (when up close it looks kind of like alligator skin).
I made the boarder of crowns using a crown from Gypsy Wanderings and welding them together in a row. I cut them out of blue stripped paper. I sprayed some Ditto glimmer spray across the middle of the white card stock page and then put down some photo mats cut from the remaining paper from both the blue and pink. I topped off the crown boarder with some stickles ice in blue and pink.
Page 2:
I used the inverse of the crown boarder as a mask and put it on a white sheet of card stock and sprayed it with some turquoise Ditto glimmer spray on both sides. I took some more of the left over paper to make some photo mats down the middle of the page. And I used the crowns that were from the letters on Spoiled rotten as tiny embellishments that I adhered randomly around the page.
Hope you enjoyed my project today! I also hope you'll hop on over to CWC to check out everyone else's projects today and this whole week! :)

Heaven Sent Layout

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy with how this turned out. I think its quite possibly one of my favorite layouts I've ever made. The sketch is from Sassy Lil Sketchs. And on top of this being one of my fav layouts ever.. and being super cute.. I also am still keeping up with my goal.. this is Day 3 and layout 3 for Jayden's book :) yay! I technically made it today but I started it at like 12am and finished it at like 2am.. Adam comes home today and I haven't seen him for almost 2 weeks so I figure I won't get any pages done today.. so its a good thing I made this one late last night (or early this morning however you look at it).
I was so proud of myself for coming up with the onsies on the bakers twine and then after i got done with it I looked at the sketch again and saw I wasnt the first person to have this idea.. oh well I still LOVE it! I got the bakers twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon.. the papers are all from different companies and lines and the only one I know for sure is the pink dotted one is from DCWV. I inked the edges on the large pink plaid background with light pink chalk in and its cut at about 9x9. The onsies were all cut from the Life's A Party cart at different sizes from 1inch - 13/4 inch. I used Mono glue to adhere the bakers twine and ATG for everything else. I also got to use my irock again! yay! I used it in the corners of the pink plaid mat and on a few different random onsies. One of the onsies and once cloud have a pop dot under them. I hand cut all of the clouds on the top and the title HEAVEN SENT is cut at 1in with the Once Upon A Princess cart. The paper for the title and a few of the onsies has a simmer to it.. its like a shiny paper and I thought it was perfect for this!

Precious Layout

I just finished up another page for Jayden's scrapbook.. Using the same DCWV Scrap-a-holic sketch. This time I used the Nana's Nursery Baby Boy stack. I know it looks a little boyish but I thought it went well with the colors in the pics.. the blue gown I was wearing adn the orange/yellowish walls and such. I realize that it makes the whole thing look like Jayden is a boy :( oh well.
I made the bottle using Simply Charmed & the title Precious is cut from Once Upon A Princess with a piece of yellow DCWV adhesive back mat.. from a 4x6 mat stack. And the pleated ribbon was my very first attempt I think it turned out pretty good for a first try. :).
Im entering this into the following challenges:
So far thats 2 pages for Jayden's book in 2 days.. that means Im right on track.. hopefully I stay that way.. or even better.. surpassing my goal would be wonderful!!

Best Friends Layout

I made this layout using the August Stack-a-holic Sketch at DCWV. These are pics of Jayden in the hospital with Nelly.. her very first best friend :D. She LOVED to look at Nelly. She probably would still be sleeping with her every night if we could find her.. but you know how it is when you move lol. I was happy to make this layout I think it turned out cute and I have recently made myself a new goal.. My goal is to get at least 1 page of Jayden done each day before I have Harmony.. that way I can at least pretend I put a dent into her 1st year scrapbook lol. Hopefully that will be enough to get all of her hospital pics taken care of.. thats 7 pages a week .. hoping for more.. we'll see!
I used the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack. I cut the title "BEST FRIENDS" out using the Once Upon a Princess cart and I cut the flower out of the middle to make the words fit on the page the way I wanted them to. I inked the edges of most of the background papers to help them stand out. The Seahorse I cut using the Create A Critter cart (as well as the hearts). It happened to work out perfectly that I used very similar colored papers to how Nelly actually looks in real life! I thought that was a great touch. I inked the edges of the pink part of the seahorse with white chalk in to make it pop from the background a bit. And topped the seahorse off with pop dots.. I did 2 pop dots so that it would fit above the ruffle ribbon that its sitting on top of. The ribbon is from some candy I won a little while ago and I believe that person said they got it from Really Reasonable Ribbon.. and it just so happens to match the yellow/orangeish plaid paper that I used.. so cute! I wrote the journaling with a pink glaze pen.

Magic Layout
For this layout I used my small star punch and Once Upon a Princess cart. I cut the "Magic" out at 3 inches (its actually "Magical" but i cut off the "al" at the end and put the little wand on my tag). The tag pocket is yellow vellum and the tag was hand cut (this is why it looks so bad lol).
The picture is of Adam & I on our honeymoon at Disneyworld.. in this pic we're right in front of the big epcot ball thingy lol. It was taken by a Disney Photopass person (who normally I would say didn't do a very good job based on the lighting and everything) but for some strange reason this is one of my fave pics from the Disney part of our honeymoon. I just really like the way the light hit us "wrong". It was pouring down rain and well.. we decided to go to FL during hurricane season lol.. so needless to say the lines weren't bad at all!! It was an 8x10 but I cut it down a bit to fit the page better. I outlined the pic in blue scribbles 3d paint to make it stand out a bit more.

One more thing.. I just updated to the newest posting system.. you know the photo uploader.. and so far ... not a fan.. we'll see if this changes.

Apple of My Eye Layout

Made this "Apple of my eye" layout using Wrap It Up for the apple cut at 4 inches, all of the letters are cut form Once Upon A Princess at 1.5 inches. To make the apple glittery I added some glitter glue from the dollar tree. The ribbon is from Michaels in the $1 bin of ribbon.. its so cute I had to use it for this layout. I took the pics of Jayden last October for one of her monthly photo shoots. And the layout for this was from Sketch 7.14 at Sketchy Thursdays.

I am entering this LO in the following challenge (also where I got the sketch):

New carts on the way!
The other day I was so excited I forgot to tell everyone that Cricutmachine.com was having a great sale 50 different carts for $19.95!! Anyway I think it's over now but they'll have another sale and i'll let you all know when. Anyway, it was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up.. But I had already wayyyyyy over spent my scrapbooking budget (Adam limits me to $40 a month.. thow it never seems to work out for him lol). Adam ended up letting me get 3 carts (he said I could spend what I thought I would make off the 2 carts Im selling on my Etsy. So I got Happy Hauntings, Once Upon A Princess, and Old West all for $19.95 each!!!! What a great deal! So those are in the mail!

Last night while working on my card for the Caring Hearts Card Drive Blog Hop I'm participating in on Saturday (BTW you may wanna come check it out its for a very good cause and I'll be giving away my very first blog candy! hope you join in on the fun!) I ran out of ATG glue :( bummer... But since Im making the cards for a good cause Adam has decided to let me spend more again and buy some refills! Even better than that... Adam thinks its such a good cause that he has decided to help me make a few cards to send as well! How sweet :).
And Adam signed me up for a handgun safety class on saturday (as well as him on sunday) and we are both looking for some volunteer work.. we're thinking meals on wheels.. we'll see. So, this is a jam packed weekend.. not to mention I wanted to take some super cute pics of Jayden in the studio this weekend with her pumpkins. Eh.. we'll see how it all goes hopefully well.
