Love Layout

Hey everyone,

I know it's been forever since I've posted. So sorry for neglecting you blog lol. Hopefully I'll be getting back to blogging a little more now.. I'll shoot for once a week (for starters and hopefully increase more and more as time goes).

Today I'd like to share this layout I made of the girls and their daddy :).

I cut the title, film strip, and heart with my silhouette and fussy cut the little cupid. Cupid and the heart are on pop dots. Tied some turquoise and brown bakers twine on the tag. Hope you like my layout!

Newport Open Sea 2 Page Layout

Hey everyone,

Today I have a 2 page scrapbook layout to share. One of my favorite ways to use ribbon on a layout is to use it as banners. I used the Dark Mint Lyon Wired Ribbon in 1-1/2 in to make the banner on the top right of the layout. I just cut banner shapes by and out of the ribbon and adhered with ATG tape. I made sure that the tops of the banners had the wired edge to help me bend them into shape to make a curve.

I used the 1-1/2 in Dazzle Grosgrain ribbon in Tropic Blue to line the bottom of my pictures. I also added some over a couple different photos and one of the purple paper edges as photo corners. Over the bottom part of the dazzle ribbon I added a strip of Lavender 7/8 in Double Ruffle Ribbon. For both ribbons on the bottom I cut to have a banner/pennate shape on each end. To do this and have them the exact same you take the ribbon and fold over the ends (so that with the ruffle ribbon the ruffles from top and bottom touch), and then cut at a diagonal slant going up and in toward the middle of the fold.

I cut the title out using my Silhouette Cameo and added some different color sequins that matched the rest of the page around the edges of the title (in hopes they would resemble bubbles). I hope you all enjoyed my layout.

Tillamook 2 page layout

Hey everyone,

Another layout... this time a 2 page layout (which is pretty rare for me). Don't get me wrong I love them and I wish I did more but I just never seem to do any.

I cut all of the embellishments with my Silhouette Cameo by taking pics and tracing... and that boat one in the top left corner was lots of fun to weed (NOT!). For the boat logo I actually cut it out of navy vinyl because it was so detailed I knew paper wouldn't stand a chance lol. Some of the embellishments are on pop dots and some aren't. These pics are from Harmony's very first time at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We always make a point of getting to the Cheese factory on every beach trip we can.. we love it. It's the only place you can get Adam's favorite squeeky cheese. Jayden also loved it and Harmony loves it now (this trip she was only a week and a half old so she couldn't try it out then).

Bringing Harmony Home Layout

Hey everyone,

Today I have a layout of Harmony coming home from the hospital when she was born.
I cut the title with my Cameo. Adhered everything with ATG tape, even the sequins. And the top photo is embossed pink paper with the cuttle bug and then I used ink to make the words stand out more. The embossed paper is adhered with pop dots as is the glitter banner on the bottom corner.

PIcnicing Bo Bunny layout

Hey everyone!

First of all let me say Happy April Fools day!! I'm usually a huge prankster and I always get Adam with something.. but this year I'm just not feeling it or I guess I just haven't had the time. We're taking the girls to the Circus today (they've never been before & I haven't been since I was like 8 so we're pretty excited).. I half-way wonder if he bought the tickets so I didn't have a chance to prank him lol.

Today I have another layout to share. I used the Bo Bunny Lemonade Stand collection to make this layout. I fussy cut the arrows and the title from one of the Bo Bunny papers. I made the flower using a punch then a green sequin then on top of that a pink pearl. I put the arrows title and flower on pop dots. Everything else is adhered with ATG tape. The pic is Jayden & Harmony with their cousins (my nephews) on Easter 2012.

Starfish Layout

Hey Everyone,

Another layout to share. This one is another aquarium layout. I made this using mainly papers from the beach house collection (I've had it just sitting around for almost over a year)   from the paper studio, you can get it from hobby lobby.. super cute papers in there! Anyway... I used my silhouette cameo and design studio to make the title, stars and triangles on the bottom. I used pop dots for a few of the stars and adhered everything else with Zig glue and ATG tape. I used a punch for the line running across the top-middle and bakers twine on the silver tag. I cut the picture in three 2 inch increments to fit the sketch better. The red-ish colored paper (which is actually more orange) has been around for a couple years just sitting in my stash.

Gators Layout

Hey everyone!

Today I'm sharing a layout. I made this layout using mainly scraps but all stash. The background is American Crafts paper (over 2 years old) its got dots embossed all over and it's actually silver even though it looks gray. Most of the other papers are DCWV scraps from different lines. The title is Thickers.

Summer Fun Layout

Hey everyone...

Tonight I have a 12x12 layout to share.  I used mainly scraps for this one but all of the papers are from my stash.. the background is a few years old. I designed/created and cut the suns, title & chevrons with DE and my Cameo. I adhered everything with ATG and Zig glue (for the smaller stuff like the letters and chevrons. And I put the sun on some pop dots.

I was inspired by a Scrap Around the World mood board (March Challenge 23). I was inspired by the colors, chevrons, and the sun on the yellow image.

Family 2013 layout

Wow.. there I go letting my blog sit here neglected. Ugh I have got to get back to this but my scrapbook room still isn't finished being re-done, and the holidays, I fear I won't be back into the regular swing until after Christmas. But you never know, I will be crafting a lot for Christmas so hopefully I can get a few projects on here.

Anyway, today I have a layout I made. I used DCWV Lemon Flower stack, gold glitter thickers and ATG tape to adhere.

Smooth Sailing

Hey everyone.. wow yet again I have neglected my blog lol. Unfortunately, I won't be back into the regular swing of blogging for some time still. I just happened to have some time to write today. I've been busy with miss 4 year old and miss 2 (almost 3 and it breaks my heart) year old.. and redoing my craft room.. again!

Adam just finished making my desk a few months ago and stuff was going good... (the room wasn't complete yet) until I found a deal on craigslist and HAD to have it. So I got a super deal on white cube storage (about $4 per cube). I asked Adam to redo my room/ his office .. even though just months ago he said "are you sure this is how you want it? Because once it's done.. its done! And I will not be re doing anything you decide later you don't like"... well I asked anyway and he decided that my new idea was much better. So needless to say the room is a mess and I can't get to anything pretty much. And for the next few weeks it's only gonna be worse lol.

So today I have a little card I made real quick. The sailboat and anchor are both from Life's A Beach and were cut with my expression 2. The circle and scalloped circle are both from Cricut Craft Room Basics and were also cut with the expression 2. I embossed the red circle with my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots folder. After I adhered all of the parts onto the circles I put the entire sailboat in the circle on a pop dot. I ran some red velvet ribbon around the card and over the velvet ribbon some burlap twine which goes around twice and has a cute little bow. I hand wrote the sentiment.

Mother's Day 2014

Hey everyone.. :)

Today I have this 2 page layout to share.. These adorable pieces of art work were my amazing mothers day gifts from my babies. Adam took me to the beach and casino for Mothers day on Friday and we came back Saturday (before mothers day) and his mom watched the girls for us and she's a super crafty lady.. and I was hoping she'd make something like this with them. Hand prints are my absolute favorite. I LOVE THEM!

Anyway I put them on some 12x12 white card stock so that I could display them in a scrapbook. I added the title above which was cut using Pooh Font, my Gypsy & Expression 2. Adhered with Zig glue.
