Be Mine Card

This card was fairly simple to make (most of my projects tend to be.. I guess thats life with a one year old). I cut the red card stock down to 6.5x5 (a tad smaller than the card) and then I cut out the hears on my Cricut Expression using Doodle Charms, I used both the scalloped heart and the normal heart and cut them all at different sizes.. 3/4 of an inch, 1 inch, 13/4 inch & 3.5 inches. I then adhered the red paper to the front of the card and outlined the big one and wrote in words (I was going for sweethearts type of phrases but I couldn't remember them all I know I got them wrong lol) with a black glaze pen, it gives the appearence of being embossed. And I used some black Scribbles 3d paint to do 3 dots in each corner of the card.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Post-it Paper Blog Hop (Shaker Card)

Sorry for the wrong date but I couldn't figure out how else to make this go above my other sticky post!

If you came here from Carissa's Blog than you're in the right place! If not, hop on over to SweetSassyDiva for the full lineup!

This is my first shaker card (done right, second ever). I hope that you enjoy it.. it did take some time (mainly because this was m first attempt to do a shaker card correctly).

Recipe:
Doodle Charms
Create A Critter
Snowflake pattern paper
White foam
White Post-it paper
Glacier Post-it paper
Sunshine Post-it paper
Clear paper/plastic (I used the old cover from a Cricut mat)
Blue Glaze pen
Blue ink pad
Adhesive
Blue Scribbles 3d paint
Black Scribbles 3d paint
White Scribbles 3d paint
Blue glitter
White glitter
Clear/White tiny glass beads
6.5 x 5 white premade card
Instructions:
Using Doodle Charms cut out the snow globe at 4 inches using the White Post-it paper and using the Glacier Post-it paper cut out the globe using shift at 4 inches. Using Create A Critter cut out the main penguin in White Post-it paper at 2 inches and the beak and feet with the Sunshine Post-it paper at 2 inches. Take the black Scribbles 3d paint and paint the area of the penguin that should be black (you can fallow the cut lines) and the eyes. Then use the White Scribbles 3d paint to paint the area of the penguin that should be white (this gives some texture). Peel the Sunshine beak and feet and adhere to the the penguin.
With the snow globe, use the White Scribbles 3d paint to paint a little snow mound on the bottom of the inside of the white globe and also some snowflakes or dots around the globe area. Take the Glacier globe and cut out the center leaving a small outline. Place the Glacier globe on some white foam and trace the outline. Cut the white foam so that it fits under the Glacier outline without showing (making sure there there is no gaps, this must be solid to hold in your beads and glitter). Adhere the Glacier boarder to a clear sheet of plastic (I used an old Cricut Mat protective sheet) and cut off the excess. Adhere the foam outline to the plastic (making sure it does not show through the other side).

Once your Scribbles paint is dried on both your globe and penguin, peel off the backing and adhere the penguin to the middle of the globe (the white main globe). Put some beads and glitter over top of the penguin. Adhere the top of the globe (I used ATG tape since it does not have to dry and can leave a solid line of adhesive) to the white globe and its done!

Now, adhere your snowflake paper to the cover of the card and adhere the globe on top of that. Cut a small circle (I did this by hand) out of the Glacier Post-it paper and ink the edges with blue ink. Then write your sentiment on that and adhere it down to the top area and your card is done!

Christmas Card

I made this super cute lil Christmas card for the following challenges:

I cut both the snowman and the snow globe out with Doodle Charms. I used glitter snowflake DP to cut the globe "glass area" to simulate snow falling inside the globe. I used some clear glitter glue to outline the snowman and the bottom of the snow in the globe (which was just some white paper ripped to fit inside the globe and not cover the snowman). Some silver sparkly ribbon across the back and I used a stamp from Michaels, red ink, white paper and green vellum to make the tag. I used some white ribbon to tie the tag onto the globe.
And this is the anniversary card Adam made me. Today is our 6 year anniversary of when we started dating =D Im probably the only person that keeps track of these things.. its also the day I had my first kiss =D. Isnt this card super cute.. he's so talented when it comes to scrapbooking and card making. Today we're taking Jayden to the pumpkin patch (for her very first trip to the pumpkin patch).. oh today should be tons of fun!!! Im excited!

Thanks for stoppin' by and have a great day!

Thanks A Bunch Card

Made this super cute card for the neighbors.. and the pie too. Its an apple pie made from the apples in the pic (we bought so many and didnt know what to do with them afterwards so I made them an apple pie and apple crisp for Adams work... and tonight Im making another one for us and we'll still have a bunch left).
I used my Cricut and Doodle Charms cart to make the apples and the basket on this card. Don't remember the sizes I cut them at. Took the pic of Jayden in my studio for her 9 month old photo shoot. Im entering this card in the following challenge:

Bake & Decorate - Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

I made these cookies a little while ago (an hour or so ago). They look like cinnamon rolls and taste like a combo between a cinnamon roll and a snicker doodle. They are SOOOOO good. This was my first time trying out this recipe and I'll definitely be using it again... a LOT!
I made these a long with a tag and tiny card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - #30 Bake & Decorate
I cut both the card and the tag from doodle charms and used some ribbon to tie the tag onto the baggie with the cookies in it. I used 3 different papers from my stash (dark/hot pink, royal blue & a lighter blue). I just wrote a quick little note on the tag and inside the card for Adam (my hubby).

I got the recipe for these cookies out of Taste of Home magazine. Adam's grandma orders me a subscription every year as a small part of my Christmas present. :)

Thanks for stoppin' by and have a great night!

Happy Birthday Card

We just got back from my B-day trip to Yellowstone and I was so excited to finally get to open up my b-day presents from my husband! (he's the best!) He got me a Cuttlebug, a few different embossing folders, Doodle Charms Cart, Sesame Street Cart, and Mini Monsters Cart. I couldn't wait to open em up and get to work. Im still working on the photos from the wedding we shot last weekend so I havent had much crafting time.. and wont for awhile.

I did manage to squeeze in this card though. It was the first thing I got to make with my Cuttlebug. I made this birthday card for my husbands grandma. This card fits into a few challenges:
Paper Take Weekly - favorite challenge from last 3 years I choose "Recipe Time 3-2-1" from Aug 24, 2010. 3 papers, 2 flowers, 1 ribbon.
